Broken Wrist by Tate

I was pole vaulting and we were having a contest to see who could go the farthest.  I was winning so I called mom to come watch me. She came and Dad came, too.
Mom told me if I held the end of the stick I would go farther.  I tried it and it made me go a bit farther. Then mom told me if I let go of the stick I would go even farther. So I tried it and it actually worked so well that it rocketed me 2 and a half meters. When I landed, I landed funny and I heard a pop! It hurt 2 seconds after I heard the pop. I immediately thought I broke my bone. I said" I have a broken arm!" but my mom it's probable not a broken bone. So she just put my legs up on a container so the blood could flow to my head.  Dad went and called Emily. Then Mom and Spencer brought me to Mom and Dad's room.  I lay in bed for about 20 minutes and then Emily came. She put a wooden stick on my arm and tied it so it was stable.
Then we drove to town and then to Dar es Salaam. It was a painful ride.  It took 6 hours.  We arrived in Dar at 7:53 pm. Then we drove to the hospital which took us almost 20 more minutes. We signed in to emergency  and then went into a room and waited for a while. Then we went and got X-rays and we saw that I had a broken arm.  Then we waited for 3 hours. Beside us there was a guy that had a snake bite.  The good doctor came and put a cast on me.  It didn't take very long. Before he put the cast on he had to pull on it and wiggle it around and then put the cast on. It hurt and I said "OW!"
After that we went and got another X-ray. After we we finished we went to Kurisini to sleep. When we arrived it was 11:50.
The next day we drove all the way back to our house, another 6 hours back to marembawe.
